This site was created as part of my efforts to locate several dogs that were displaced after being rescued from Hurricane Katrina's aftermath. Months after beginning my search, I realized four of my cases were proving to be particularly difficult -- the cases of Deannie, Ali, Dude and PepperAnn.

As you know from browing this site, those four dogs have still not been located.

Several dogs, however, WERE found and reunited with their owners.

Coming soon: The stories of Son and Ketel, Cujo, Rocky, Mikey, Bow and Luke, Nikko, and Rufus. 

I will remain forever changed by the tiny, tiny part I played in these reunions -- and even moreso by the most extraordinary demonstration of teamwork I have ever witnessed.
