• FACES Project - involves using the face painting and mask motifs of traditional cultures around the globe as a starting point ... then interpreting then with theatrical makeup and other media. Think in terms of Japanese Giesha, Plains Indian War Paint, African and Australian ceremonial face and body paint. I'm interested in collaborating with models, make up artists and stylists on this project. There are several samples in my portfolio here on MM. • Environmentals - I'm looking for female model/artists to work with on an on-going basis on a series of gallery oriented environmentals, human forms relating to nature and natural surroundings as well as allegorical images based on 18th and 19th century paintings. The only requirements are that you be healthy, of normal physical proportions and interested in being a collaborative influence.

Yes - the work involves nudity and semi-nudity. The work situation is all work, dignified and professional and R rated. The content is comparable to Playboy.
NO - it is NOT adult work.

• Eve - I believe that, in her episode with the apple, Eve got a bum rap. I want to revisit Eve and her Apple photographically and offer other views of what might have happened. After all, when you are in the Garden of Eden hearing voices, how the hell are you supposed to know who is who? I haveve mapped out a dozen images to revisit the story. That means multiple shoots with the same model in a variety of Garden of Eden and maybe not so Eden like locations.
  
  This is an important project for me and will require a significant commitment of time ... I anticipate it will involve at least 6 paid shoots over the course of several months. I'm currently testing models for the role of Eve. The model requirements are (for both Environmentals and Eve):
  
  • Healthy female with a natural figure and normal proportions.
    
  • Minimum tattoos; none would be the best of all possible worlds but I can deal with small things.
    
  • Some acting ability; to convey a variety of emotional states through body language and pose.
    
  • and a recent addition resulting from several test shoots: A high degree of comfort in your own skin. Art photography involving nudity requires more presence and poise from a model than just getting naked. Anyone can get naked and stand in front of a camera. Eve needs emotion, animation, poise and presence - she needs to be alive so she can tell the story.

• Daughters of Eve - Along with the series of twelve images I have in mind for the story of Eve, I also have other images in mind that use the Eve symoblism. I think of these images as Daughters of Eve. The images can be achieved in a single shoot and do not require a comittment to a lengthy project scenario. Nor do they require the continuity of a single model to be effective as the Eve story does.

  • Invidia - (Envy), A feeling of discontent and resentment aroused by and in conjunction with desire for the possessions or qualities of another.
    
  • Ira - (Anger; Rage), A strong feeling of displeasure or hostility.
    
  • Avaritia - (Avarice), Immoderate desire for wealth; cupidity.
    
  • Tristia - (Sadness), Affected or characterized by sorrow or unhappiness; Melancholy.
    
  • Gula - (Gluttony), Excess in eating or drinking.
    
  • Luxuria - (Lust), Intense or unrestrained sexual craving.
    
  
  If you have acting abilities and can portray these attitudes through body language and facial expressions, I probably want to work with you. (F - semi-nudity & costume)
  
  
• Body Art Project - Body enhancement and modifications are special and can make for very powerful images. If you have interesting ink or piercings, I would like to shoot it/them in detail. This series is all about the ink as opposed to who has the ink. (M or F - Nudity? Depends on where you have your ink.)
