This map/plan of Kingston in 1738 by Michael Hay shows the extension of Kingston to the east by the addition of streets such as High Holborn Street. It also shows some details of the Parade - in the centre the Dickers Wells, and in the north-west corner the Magazine to store ammunition for the military.
