 Howdy!!

My name is Tara Lovre and I live in the quiet farming community of Enumclaw. I am 21 years old and first and foremost an equestrian. I have been around horses for more than half of my life. I love everything about them, riding, training, grooming, and even the SMELL of horses! My family breeds, raises and trains paint horses. Our farm is called Lazy Loper Stables, and you can find a link to our farm's page on the Links page.

I have experience with most every aspect and breed in the horse world. My knowledge comes from a lot of reading, and many jobs in boarding stables around the area. Some of the farms I have worked for are: Covington Farms, Covington Farms II, Lazy M Ranch, Reber Ranch, Signal Stables, Cascade Stables, Findlay Racing Stables, Luce Rein Stables and other privately owned stables. I also worked for the talented racehorse trainer Robbie Baze and his wife Bonnie at their farm RB Thoroughbreds for many years, cleaning their barn, caring for their horses, and watching their house and other animals. While working at these locations I came in contact with many breeds, including but not limited to: paints, quarter horses, arabians, thoroughbreds, draft horses, fjords, ponies, tenessee walkers, appaloosas and paso finos. I have been involved in nearly every area of horsemanship possible, all aspects of breeding, showing, trail riding, general vet care, advanced knowledge of equine nutrition, stallion handling, leg work, basic massage techniques, and training. Our family currently owns two paint broodmares (one due to foal in Feb. of 06), a half arabian gelding, and a Welsh/POA gelding. If you want to see what kind of work I do, your best bet is to come check out my barn and horses.....that is the best testimonial there is!

Luckily, I don't just have knowledge and experience with horses! I am just as in love with, and knowledgeable about dogs, cats and other animals. As a teenager I volunteered as kennel help for an animal hospital in Federal Way, WA. My job there included dealing with sick, injured, and sometimes difficult dogs, cats, and other small animals. I was in charge of moving the animals, cleaning their enclosures, feeding, watering, cleaning bedding, and sometimes giving medications. I've dealt with everything from MinPins to Saint Bernards. I myself own two dogs, an elderly pug, and a young golden retriever cross (a rescue). I also own two cats, both feral cats that were rescued, now living the spoiled life of an indoor kitty! I've also cared for everything from barn cats, to goats, to miniature horses, to llamas! The only animals I refuse to care for are reptiles and insects, as I unfortunately cannot profess to have even minimal knowledge about them. If you have a special animal you wish me to care for, don't be afraid to ask if I will consider them, the worst I can say is no!
