What I'm Listening to in 2007
What I Listened to in 2006
- "Jardin d'hiver" by Keren Ann, French pop at it's finest. (1/14/06)
- The whirring of fans and dehumidifier, which are supposed to help but are only noisy. (1/16/06)
-
Diana Ross and The Supremes - The Ultimate Collection. If you have to listen to all your CDs to make sure they still work, you may as well start with one of the best. I'm stuck on "You Can't Hurry Love" for some reason. (1/20/06)
- The Damn Millionaires. Get in on this before they're even more famous.
I will buy a copy of this for the first person to email me the names of the four Damn Millionaires. Congrats to Gillian B., who knows who the Damn Millionaires are, and why they are worth listening to. (1/26//06) - "Canary" by Liz Phair, from Exile in Guyville. I put all your books in an order - I make up a colorful border (1/29/06)
-
"Don't Cha" by the Pussycat Dolls. Yes, seriously. (2/1/06)
-
"King of the Road" by Rufus Wainwright, from the Brokeback Mountain soundtrack. (2/3/06)
-
"Wild Horses" by the Rolling Stones, from the Sticky Fingers album. (3/18/06)
- "It Ain't Me" from the Walk the Line soundtrack. They ain't John and June, but I kinda like 'em. (4/8/06)
- Amos Lee's "Keep It Loose, Keep It Tight" is on constant repeat. (5/12/06)
- "I'm not ready to make nice" either. Not just yet. (6/16/06)
-
Franz Ferdinand's "Dark of the Matinee" has made my return to Metro riding much easier. (8/20/06)
- Natalie Merchant's Seven Years makes me cry. In a way so familiar. (9/7/06)
