I  believe that to offer my families and children a quality program that I need to continually educate myself in my field.  Several times a year I attend training programs given by Child Action, Quality Childcare Collaborative and Solutions Group Meeting to continue my education, so I can properly care for the children and families I work with.

Description: This interactive learning session will use discussion, photographs, videos and actual samples of adapted materials as well as your own creative brainstorming to make the environment you provide for children a place where everybody plays and learns.

Description: RIE (Resources for Infant Educarers) is a non-profit world-wide membership organization, dedicated to improving the quality of infant care and education through teaching, supporting, and mentoring parents and caregivers.

Description: Child care providers and teachers will learn how to prepare themselves to meet the social and emotional needs of all young children. The series will also cover how to support children who demonstrate challenging behaviors.

Description: Understanding how the brain develops and functions helps us to care for children with greater intention and awe. Come join Laura Bridges for an overview of the basics of brain development as well as multiple intelligences, sensory learning styles, teaching approaches, activity ideas, and creative strategies for child care.

Description: Laura Bridges reviews effective strategies for soothing crying babies, eliminating toddler tantrums, appropriate responses to aggression and ideas for how to prevent challenging behaviors.
