It is with great pleasure that MCOBA is
announcing The MCOBA Royal Gala & Annual Dinner 2005 is opening its
ticket sales commencing today. This Dinner which will witness the most
number of Malay Rulers in a MCOBA function, will also commemorate the
closing of our Centenary Celebration. The Theme of the Dinner would be
'Musical Bangsawan' with gorgeous display of the Malay Royal Court
enriched by the soft tunes of Malay traditional music. The Dinner
Committee comprising of approximately 35 MCOBs is already working
steadfast to give their very best for the night that is to be
remembered, for as long as the sun, moon and the stars move across the
Heavens!

MCOBA Royal Gala & Annual Dinner 2005
Venue: The Grand Ballroom 1 & 2, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, KLCC
Date & Time: Saturday, 26 November 2005, 8.00 pm
Ticket Price: RM 250.00 per head or RM 3,000 per table.
Sales Condition: Strictly First-Come-First-Serve basis; NO BOOKINGS/ RESERVATIONS
The Dinner will cost MCOBA RM 100 per head and the proceeds shall go to MCOBA for its yearly operation expenses.
Charged tables shall start from no "21" (Section 1) up to no "146"
(Section 3) and table arrangements shall cover for the best sight in
the hall for the earliest buyers. Hall dimension is W29 Meters x L82.8
Meters. Below is the rough sketch of the hall, we will furnish you with
a proper to-scale dimension along with table arrangements soon.

cash, cheque (Made payable to 'MCOBA') or Bank-in to MCOBA Account (BCB
Acc No. 1414000332605-8) after which, please fax the bank-in slip to
MCOBA fax 03-22743176. Upon receipt of the proof of payment, you will
be assigned to your table number and be given a temporary receipt while
the official tickets are being printed out.

On the 18th of Sept 05, MCOBA had organized a futsal tournament. The
event took place at Sports Planet Ampang. Quite a number of old boys
turned up. Our batch sent 2 teams namely Rasta 95 and 95 Hameed. The
players are:

Some of our batch members also turned up to show support which includes
Nazerk, Max, Busan, Gendut, Meon, Katong and many more. Rasta 95 manage
to get through the group match with 3 games altogether against batch
92, 97 & 98. All matches end up with 2-0. The team had a fight
match with DC98 in the quarter final but fate was against us. We lost
the match 0-1.
95 Hameed had a hard luck this time. Although they don't qualify for
the next round, the players had shown their spirit. Kudos to all.
Next year Insya Allah we will continue to bet our luck in this MCOBA
Futsal tournament. Hope things will be better than this year.
