Women's Fall/Winter Training Schedule

including November 2 and 3

2:30 - 4:30 - Monday, Wednesday and Friday

4:30 - 6:30 - Tuesday and Thursday

9:30 - 12:00 - Saturday

1. Our winter program is broken into three (3) phases starting October 26th and ending on February 27th.
2. Monday Oct. 26th our returning oarsmen did their 3 minute testing.
3. Novice and Freshmen will do their 3 minute testing around November 9th.
   
4. Starting Monday November 9th we will initiate the Monday off for novices/freshmen and Friday off for varsity.

Men's Fall/Winter Training Schedule

During the summer we had the Introduction to Rowing program, which lasted a couple of weeks and gave aspiring rowers a whiff of Crew.
Early in the school year we had the Learn-to-Row program, which lasted two weeks and really acquainted kids with the concept of rowing, get the feel of a boat on the water, and get 'hooked'.
Both these programs are now over, and we have started training in earnest. Now we have the Fall/Winter Conditioning. Rowers should have signed up, paid their dues and sent in all their forms, and are now fully-fledged Oarsmen.

Parents will learn to be quite flexible as plans change all the time. Our motto could well be "McLean Crew - Subject to Change". Watch the emails and check the website regularly to keep up with the latest news.

We hope everyone has enjoyed the rented ergs over the summer and managed to stay in shape to show off now that the season has started up again!
All the ergs should be back at the trailers by now.

If you had paid extra in the spring to have your ergs picked up, please contact Steve Keller (vpoperations@mcleancrew.org) to arrange for a time. If you hadn't, please call Steve to arrange a time that you can drop yours off at the trailers.
