I often explore texture, experimenting with different media, painting on various surfaces such as metal trays, glass and streching fabric instead of canvas. Photo-realistic paintings that capture the essence of the photo leaving room for loose , expressive brush strokes - some of my influences include Mark Rothko, Max Ernst, Jasper Johns, and Janet Fish.
