The NCE Conference us held Monday through Thursday. Monday is a day day completely dedicated to technical workshop aimed to expand your content knowledge ending the day with an all career field Opening Session. Tuesday has some additional extended learning opportunities along with cross career field rotation options, community college rotations and wrap up with some time visiting the vendor exhibit area. Wednesday provides a variety of options to meet your needs including additional content specific learning opportunities, an additional keynote speaker and professional organization banquets. Thursday is started with a keynote speaker and dedicated to sessions related to specific career fields.
Vendor exhibits showcasing curriculum materials, fundraising opportunities, software/hardware and related services are displayed on Tuesday of the conference. Prizes are available in special drawings from vendors.
Conference sessions take place at the Younes Conference Center, just off the interstate in Kearney, NE. Many of the specialty workshops are held at various locations across the city, i.e.; ESU 10, UNK, Kearney High School, as state in the conference agenda.
Attendance at last year's conference exceeded 500 attendees; therefore, it is important to make advance room reservations. Several hotels have special conference rates and are listed under the Lodging tab on this website.
Wayne State College will be offering the NCE Conference for three (3) hours of graduate credit. For more information on receiving credit please contact Dr. Patricia Arneson at Wayne State College, email@example.com.
Each registrant is asked to wear a conference name badge throughout the conference. Business casual attire is appropriate, no jeans or t-shirts please. Coffee and other beverages will be available starting at 8:00 am and continue throughout each day.
Registration fees do not include material fees that may be added to workshops, any professional organization events or banquets.
Written cancellations are required and include a $50 processing fee. Written cancellations must be received by May 15 of the current conference year. No refunds will be provided for no-shows. Some workshops and meal functions require additional fees that are not refundable.
When you submit your registration on-line, a confirmation form will be generated and sent to the email you provide. Checks for registration invoices should be made payable to NCE Conference and mailed to NCSA, 455 South 11th Street, Suite A, Lincoln, NE 68508.
On-line registration will be available beginning April 15th and close on May 20th.
