I will also share my experience with the casting process, mold makers and foundrys.

Pointillism= Creating layers of tiny dots of colored ink to create the color you want. Stippling in Color.
Some part of every day will be spent sketching the horses. Drawing is a vital part of this technique and what better opportunity to sketch live horses and the surrounding countryside. We will compose and sketch out the drawing you will do in the classroom.
In the classroom we will work on color. Mixing the colors we want and understanding the color wheel. Also composition, perspective and basic drawing. Plus the technique of layering the dots.
We will also use the pen and ink over watercolor washes and using colored pencils in your drawings.
The first two days will be more on technique and drawing and the later days on using the other mediums and completing a piece.
Some experience in drawing is preferred, but not necessary.
Pat also has an assistant, Robin Berry, in this workshop and she will give individual attention as needed throughout the workshop. Robin also teaches children drawing.
