District Golf Qualification Information

Hi, I am Charles W. Tansey II and I have once again taken over the Optimist International Junior Golf Championships (OIJGC). I am in the fund raising business and I need your help rather it be with your club or personal. The OIJGC Program needs to raise approximately $4,000.00 and I am asking that everyone in the New Mexico / West Texas Optimist District help out.

New Mexico / West Texas Optimist District

Optimist International Junior Golf Qualifying Tournament

Date: June 18, 2009 8:00 A.M.

Location: Vista Hills Country Club ( El Paso, TX )

Divisions Offered: Boys and Girls 12 - 13 /14 - 15 /16 - 18

Four individuals qualified for the national tournament. The winner will be sent compliments of the NMWT District. One other qualifier will be attending at his own expense. The winner was Cody Hernandez with a 69. Other qualifiers were Mick Chacon - 71, Luke Hicks - 82, and Alexia Heist - 70. Congratulations to all 11 competitors in this year's contest.
