Yes there are rules!  Check the big sign in front of the small dog park. Small dog park- yes that's for small dogs.  Please take your medium and large sized dogs to the 4 acre park.  Small dogs are welcome in the large dog park, but dogs over 16" are not welcome in the small dog park. 

Rules for St. Catharines Leash Free dogparks:

• Clean up after your dog
• Do not allow your dog to chase wildlife
• Keep your dog within sight and under verbal control
• No puppies under 4 months, female dogs in heat, sick or aggressive dogs
• No PRONG COLLARS inside the leashfree area
• No glass containers, food or toys
• Dog owners must have a leash in hand at all times
• Children must be supervised by an adult
• Pit bulls must remain muzzled and leashed at all times.
• All dog owners are subject to the Dog Owner’s Liability Act
  
  Please remember to keep your dog(s) leashed when not in the designated leashfree area, be courteous to other park users and CLEAN UP the Poop and the trash!

HEALTH WARNING: A LOT OF DOGS ARE GETTING SICK FROM THE CANINE FLU- PLEASE DO NOT BRING SICK DOGS TO THE PARK!!!
