Live Sound

Sean has been a Front Of House Mix Engineer for over 15 years. He has worked

with a wide range of artists from Orchestras like The Royal Philharmonic to more

contempory acts like Kim Wilde, Howard Jones, Zarif, (The newly reformed) Kajagoogoo, Blur and Five.

With an extensive knowledge of PA systems and their various pro and cons, Sean is ideally placed to

spec an entire tour if required. His many years of experience really show when the pressure is

on and he makes sure the show always sounds as good as it possibly can. Sean's experience

comes from years of working with some of the biggest PA companies in the business including

Star Events Group (Star Hire), SSE, Wigwam, Pearce Hire and Transmedia742. He's worked his

way up from unloading trucks, to systems tech to engineer.

Sean's live experience covers everything from stadium rock to corporate events and with his

studio background he is often the best qualified engineer on site with the (almost) unique

ability to bring studio quality mixes to the live arena.

Sean Travels with his own rack of vocal processing to make sure that the most important
part of any show is loud and clear and of the best quality. This includes TLAudio, Presonus,  Lexicon and
TC Electronic equipment.

Mixing the 25th Anniversary show for Howard Jones at the IndigO2 2008.
This was a massive show featuring many guests, a live string section, a brass section, BVs and 42 lines not including returns. Sean mixed the whole show using the new iV6 from Soundcraft. 'It is truly an exceptional desk which will be my first choice for this kind of show from now on.'
