I've been an EFL teacher in Brazil since 1987 and my main interest nowadays is to explore the potential of computers and the internet in educational settings, especially for interaction and collaboration. My master's project aims to investigate collaboration among advanced students during the writing process.
I've also started a blog to discuss new technologies and how they can be used in the classroom. "Impressões Digitais" ("Digital Prints") can be found at http://maisimpressoesdigitais.blogspot.com
At the moment I'm studying for a master's degree in Applied Linguistics at the Faculty of Letters (FALE), at UFMG (Federal University of Minas Gerais), in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. My line of research is Language and Technology.
