Hello, my name is Ron Rehfeld.  I am a self-taught photographer living in Markham, Ontario, Canada.  I have been taking photos for over 50 years and have been exhibiting my work periodically since 1974.  Although I will photograph any subject that catches my eye, I am known primarily for my architectural studies and for my photomicrographs of crystallized chemicals taken with a microscope.

Two of my crystal photos have appeared in Nikon's Small World calendars and one print was included in a traveling exhibition sponsored by Nikon which toured museums in 20 cities in the US, Europe and Japan.  These two prints are now part of the permanent collection of photography at Nikon House in New York City.

I am currently working on series of photos of antebellum buildings in Charleston, SC and Savannah, GA; and of Art Deco buildings in South Beach, FL.
