The new wave of so-called Web 2.0 technologies, or the "read-write Web", has great potential to transform organisations.  The benefits can include better stakeholder information and relationships, more innovation and knowledge sharing by employees, or just less time wasted on searching for information.

With my 29 years of business experience I have a good feel for what works and what doesn't in organisations.  I've been a keen online communicator for 20 years, and keep up with developments, constantly looking to sort the wheat from the chaff.   I am also an experienced project manager (and PRINCE 2 Practitioner).  So you can be confident that I'll focus on what works in practice.  I offer enthusiasm, but not naive evangelism.

Organisations I have worked with include Lloyd's of London, The Dialog Corporation, Credit Suisse, KPMG.  Positions I have held include business analyst, project manager, process improvement consultant, change facilitator, information manager, operations director, knowledge manager.

I now offer consultancy and project management services, as a freelancer.
