The Village of Vasil Levski (Stara Zagora District) is located in South-Central Bulgaria (at the center of the Thrace lowland) and is included in Municipality Opan. It is a small but well developed village with great infrastructure
(The main road 1-V Rousse-Stara Zagora-Kapitan Andreevo passes through the municipality's territory and throught the territory of the villidge, as well as the road 111-503 Sredets-Opan-Simeonovgrad. After the finishing of the Orizovo-Kapitan Andreevo segment of the Maritsa highway and of the Trakia highway Sofia-Bourgas, the municipality will be 20 km away from both of these road thoroughfares), providing all necessary amenities for living: a post office, a small medical center, cheap food shops, cafe bar and a small restaurant . The Village of Vasil Levski has good location - really short distance driving away from the Bulgarian - Turkish and Bulgarian - Greece checkpoint of Kapitan Andreevo near the town of Svilengrad (about 50km away). The town of Haskovo is at distance of 25km, the town of Harmanli is about 20km and the closest is town of Simeonovgrad at 9km driving distance.
The area is suitable for hunting and fishing because of artificial lakes and small or bigger woods are located near by.
