THE BALL INN is located on 171-173 Crookes Rd Sheffield, S10 1UD. 

 

It still maintains its traditional style and the simple wooden interior offers a reminder of how many other local pubs looked before the theme bar planners arrived. The long, curved bar keeps the lively mix of locals and students supplied with Flowers and Stella Artois, while cocktails, available in small jugs at around £7 make an interesting alternative. There are pool tables, big screen TV's and regular quiz nights (currently Monday, Wednesday and Thursday). Note that you can take drinks purchased from here across the road to the unlicensed Indian Chef restaurant.
