Welcome to Sheffield Oaks RUFC!!
Sheffield Oaks is a friendly local club on the north side of Sheffield located only 5 minutes out of the city centre by car. We have a mixture of players from the local area and from the universities with and have had players from Australia, France, Spain, Ireland, South Africa and Uganda play in recent years.
2009 holds the possibility of a new era with its move to
Niagara and we welcome you to join in !! Niagara is located at the top of Penistone Road near the Sheffield Wednesday ground. Niagara boasts the full range of facilities you would expect including a gym, scrum machine, lights, a superb pitch and most importantly a club house with a great bar that overlooks the pitch.
With a new home Oaks hope to move forwards in an exciting and positive way. Oaks, now playing in Yorkshire 6, put out number of teams out including a 1st, 2nds and over 35s.
Oaks is a great club with a friendly atmosphere and is welcoming to players of all skill levels. If you want to play, train, watch or assist with the running of the club Oaks will welcome you. If public transport is your mode of transport, you can get there via a tram to Leppings Lane on the Middlewood line then its a short walk. If you want to play rugby and like what you see here then you are more than welcome to come and give Sheffield Oaks RUFC a go on our training night, every Tuesday and Thursday starting at 7pm at NIAGARA, everybody's welcome.
