Here is a step by step illustration of how one of my commissions is created. 

This particular commission is of a German warmblood named Dac

Dac is a beautiful chestnut with a great character and loads of talent.

To draw the final portrait I combined three different photographs.  I took the best out of each and mixed them all together.

The portrait is done using graphite pencils on high quality Steinbach art paper. 

The image size is 9"x13" (23cmx33cm).
