Donna Reid's interest in art started as a small child and was greatly encouraged by her mother. She is basically a self-taught artist but has taken many classes and workshops from artists in South Carolina and around the country. She works mostly in transparent watercolor but has recently tried oils and acrylics and is experimenting with mixed media. Donna's focus has been mostly flowers, birds and landscapes and she is now incorporating these into mixed media pieces.
Donna is a past President of Crooked Creek Art League and a member of Seven Oaks Art League, Trenholm Artists Guild and the South Carolina Watermedia Society. She has paintings in many private and corporate collections.
