Parents & Kids program creates an opportunity for kids, accompanied by their parents, to learn hands-on marine education under the guidance of experienced marine educators.
The low tide at Merambong makes it ideal for kids to visit seagrass meadow and rocky shores. The program starts with a briefing to brainstorm on the types and habits of species we will likely encounter. We then take a boat trip to the site and extend our learning through story-telling and interactive activities. The learning is reinforced when the kids returned to the research center. The program is structured to instill environmental awareness in young children. The whole program last for approximately four hours.
