
Tivo has announced that early 2006 it will allow it's consumers to search for specific advertisements that they are looking for. TiVo is working with several large advertising companies on the feature, including Interpublic Media, OMD, Starcom Mediavest Group, the Richards Group and Comcast Spotlight advertising sales division. Subscriber's will be able to search by category or keyword, Tivo will then deliver matching advertisments to the consumer. Tivo is still working the bugs out but they will be looking to borrow ideas from the internet.
