The Association of Leicestershire Artists - small group of graduate artists from Leicestershire, who meet once a month to discuss work in progress, do joint projects, put on exhibitions, visit galleries or go on trips.  

Members:  Vivien Blackburn, Mary Byrne, Judith Eason,  Susan Graham, Glen Heath, Ros Kite, Sue Marlow and Maggie Samuelson

 Leslie Goodwin, Art Critic, Leicester Mercury  says,  'I am full of admiration for this small group of painters, who consistently fly the flag and show paintings of the day' , ' a cluster of talented fine art graduates'

We paint in a wide range of media: oils, acrylics, watercolours, pastel. mixed media, collage etc,  we have one sculptor and several of us are also printmakers creating etchings, drypoint, collagraph, linoprints and monoprints.  We show work locally as a group and locally and nationally as individuals.

Vivien Blackburn, Susan Graham, Glen Heath, Sue Marlow and Maggie Samuelson are also members of theLeicester Society of Artists .    Mary Byrne and Judith Eason are members of Artpace in Loughborough  .  Vivien Blackburn and Glen Heath are members of the Leicester Pastel Society
