BA (Hons) Loughborough University

MA University of Central England

My work is localised to areas of Leicester - The Market, a Flower Shop, Bradgate Park, Aylestone and the theatres - places which have held a particular familiarity since childhood.  My paintings connect with this familiarity, sometimes as a recorded experience or sometimes through the realms of fantasy.  It may be a tree, or flower, a place or a person, each has a story to tell.

Guernesy, which I visit every year is another place with deep meaning to me, replenishing and restoring mental and physical energy.   From this come paintings and clay reliefs in response to the islands inspiration.
