| | This is the shelf along the north wall of the new rescue space located to the right of the ferret room and the left of the reptile room. These new shelves are made of steel and can hold up to 2000 lbs per shelf. They are easy to clean with our new vapor cleaner and adjustable for different cage sizes. They were generously donated by Tove Reece. From top to bottom, left to right, it houses a guinea pig, a pair of gerbils, a single gerbil, a pair of guinea pigs, and a hamster. It also stores food and extra aquariums. | | The shelf on the west wall. From the top, left to right, it houses; three ringneck doves, and a single male degu who is to old to climb. He gets a long cage rather then a tall one! The rest of the shelf is used to store dog and cat food/treats, timothy hay, and wood shavings. | | To the left of the west shelf is a tall cage housing four degus and two cages housing a pair of rabbits each. There are two females in the top cage and two males on the bottom. | |
 |
| | | | We now have two walk-in cat cages along the south wall of the rescue that will be capable of housing up to four cats per cage once all of the shelves and platforms have been installed. The cages are easy to clean and move and were generously donated by Bev Downing. | | The ferret room is located to the left of the shelf on the back wall. It is home to four ferrets; Presley, Cash, Zeus and O'Malley. They share a large two story Ferret Nation cage and the door is usually open. They have a climbing structure, another cage to explore, tubes, stuffies, and other toys to play with while running around. They love hoarding their toys beneath the towels in their second cage! We switch out their toys regularly and bring them into the house and take them for walks. | |

| | To the left of the budgie cage is Tia the Bare Eyed Cockatoo's cage. She is usually out on her play area in the living room. The kennel underneath her cage is where she sleeps as it's safer and more comfortable. | | The back left corner of the bird room seen from the doorway. The large white cage houses six budgies. To the right of the budgies you can see a cage containing a lovebird and a cage containing a pair of zebra finches. | | | |
 |
| | Tia's enclosure. The basket on top contains toys, popsicle sticks, hay, and seeds to forage in. She also likes to destroy the basket! Tia only spends a few hours in the morning on her cage, and the door is left open. | | To the right of the budgies are two lovebirds and a pair of finches. The lovebirds fight so they have to be kept apart. The finches are in the smaller enclosure up top. | | To the right of the lovebirds and finches is Sam the Mitred Conure. When Tia is in the living room, which is for the majority of the day, Sam goes freely back and forth from Tia's cage. | |

| | Another view of the lovebirds and finches, as well as another single zebra finch in the back right corner of the room. The red shelf also holds bird food, toys, and toy parts. | | | | | |
