ANIMAL WELFARE ALERTS
 

A heartfelt thank you to Lex Mckie of The Eleutheros for organizing the production of our Unisex T-shirts, as well as organizing two amazing benefit shows for us! The benefit shows were a huge success, raising over $700.00!

Thank you so much to June V. for sponsering some of our cats as well as her continued donations towards outstanding vet bills.

A special thanks to Sherri S. for her regular donations and help  with the veterinary expenses of Hades the Tegu and Sabra the bunny.

If it wasn't for our dedicated foster homes, we wouldn't be able to take in as many animals as we do. Thank you; Rhonda and family, Shannon and family, Steph, Adam, Kimmie, Shelly, Jessie, and Quentin!

Dr.Steele at the South Side Animal Hospital has been extremely generous, providing discounted veterinary care for animals at the rescue. They have agreed to support our organization and are as committed as we in providing proper health care to the rescues we have taken on. One of our rabbits recently had an abscess removed from behind her eye by Dr.Steele, who managed to save her eye. She did a fantastic job and the aftercare provided by the clinic has been extraordinary.  The doctors there have shown such compassion.  We will definitely be a long term customer of the South Side Animal Hospital and recommend them to everybody, whether you have cats, dogs, small mammals, or Birds!

 




Many, many heartfelt thank yous to Dorian Bibbey of Dorian Designs for designing and donating our new logo, as well as creating the templates for our letterheads and business cards! We highly reccomend her to anybody in need of graphic design work; she is extremely professional and very patient with her clients. Thank you again, Dori! We love the logo; it's perfect! 

 

Thank you VERY much to the extremely caring and dedicated individuals responsible for Northen Alberta's 'Pet Rescue Magazine', providing free space to local rescue groups to display adoptable animals! They have helped many of our animals find live long loving homes, and as they grow in popularity and more people begin picking up the magazine, the number of adopted animals resulting from this magazine is sure to grow!

Thank you to Park Veterinary Clinic in Sherwood Park for providing veterinary care for our rescued animals at a discounted price. Park Veterinary clinic specializes in exotic animals such as reptiles, birds, and ferrets. Dr.Kwantes is well known and well respected amongst exotic keepers. He recently performed two surgeries on Hades the Argentinean Tegu to remove a rock from his gut and repair the resulting damage, and Hades has recovered magnificently. All of our visits are always very thorough and Dr.Kwantes and the other staff at Park Veterinary Clinic are very nice and professional.



 


Thank you to  the  Namao and Riverbend Pet Planet locations for donating  high quality dog and cat food to the rescued animals! Pet Planet only sells  premium pet food brands and are vocal about the  reasons why high quality food is an important factor in the health of your pet, and why you shouldn't buy pets from pet stores! Pet Planet  gives gaurdians an alternative to 'grocery' brand products that are full of bad ingredients.
