Don Butler
Don Butler is a Managing Director with Thomvest Ventures. Don's background includes a career in both investment banking as well as in business development on behalf of Silicon Valley start-ups. Don was part of Lehman Brothers' investment banking group in New York and San Francisco, and in this capacity has worked on a number of transactions ranging from initial public offerings to mergers and acquisitions. Don also led business development efforts in Asia on behalf of a number of Silicon-Valley based start-ups while serving as a consultant with Asia Pacific Ventures. Don received a Bachelor’s degree in Chinese from UCLA and Master’s degrees in East Asian Studies and Political Science from Stanford University. Don currently is a board member at Axcient, Milyoni, NetBase, scanR, and YottaMark.
Jonathan Barker
Jonathan Barker is a Venture Partner with Thomvest Ventures. Jonathan's diverse background includes managing the China subsidiaries of two Fortune 500 companies: Commercial Metals Company and EchoStar Communications Corporation; co-founding a Silicon Valley-based video search technology company - MeeVee - as well as developing strategic marketing and distribution plans, structuring and negotiating financial and commercial transactions, and carrying out due diligence for more than two dozen multinational companies and investment banks, including: Serious Materials, Skyline Solar, CalStar Cement, Microsoft, National Semiconductor, Micron Electronics, Centigram Communications, NetFRAME Systems, WebTV Networks, SyQUEST, Electric Power Research Institute and Kaiser Aluminum & Chemical Corp. Jonathan holds a Master's degree in East Asian Studies from Harvard University and a Bachelor's degree in Chinese from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Andrew Tweed
Andrew Tweed is an Analyst with Thomvest Ventures. His background includes finance and consulting experience across a variety of industries. Andrew was part of Goldman Sachs' global equity research group in New York, focusing on technical analysis and financial modeling for industrial companies. He also worked as an operations analyst for Berkeley Capital, a San Francisco private equity firm, reducing costs internally and optimizing IT systems. Andrew graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a minor in German studies.

Peter Thomson
Peter Thomson is the Founder and Managing Director of Thomvest Seed Capital. Peter's enthusiasm for technology and its increasing impact on our lives led to an investment strategy over ten years ago in early stage companies that were distinguished by the strength of their intellectual property. Peter is located at our Toronto office. Previously in his career Peter worked on three continents for subsidiaries of the Toronto-based Woodbridge Company (where he serves as Co-Chairman) during which he gained a broad range of operational and strategic experience.
Bill Dodds
Bill Dodds is a Managing Director of Thomvest Seed Capital and has been with Thomvest since its inception. With almost 20 years of private equity experience, he has been on the boards of three public and over 12 private companies where he has participated on various audit, compensation, and governance committees. Bill is a Canadian Chartered Accountant with mergers & acquisitions and corporate finance experience through the Toronto-based Woodbridge Company and its subsidiaries.
Stefan Clulow
Stefan Clulow is a Managing Director of Thomvest Seed Capital. Prior to joining Thomvest, Stefan advised emerging growth companies and venture funds on corporate and securities law matters as a partner at Perkins Coie LLP in Silicon Valley, and also practiced international corporate tax law as counsel to Moskowitz & Meredith LLP in Toronto. Stefan obtained a B.A (Great Distinction) and an LL.B. (Distinction) from McGill University. He is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and the State Bar of California.
Yvonne Verheij
Yvonne Verheij is the Controller for Thomvest Seed Capital. Prior to joining Thomvest in 1998, Yvonne attained accounting experience at both large and small public accounting firms in the Toronto area. Yvonne is a Certified General Accountant, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a Major in Commerce from the University of Toronto.

Abbygail Gibson
Abbygail Gibson joined Thomvest International Ltd. as a Managing Director in August 2009, bringing seven years of experience as a financial and corporate service provider in Nassau. Abbygail obtained a degree in Economics from Galilee College in Nassau and is currently working on a follow-on degree in Business Management.
