We are a newly setup team which started off on the 30 Nov 2007. The team comprises of youngsters from Tampines Palmspring RC Sports Club and other area with the age groups ranging from 13-19 years old. They normally play at Tampines Central Futsal Yard. They were motivated when they beat up a team way senior than them in a friendly game at SAFRA Tampines. I was voluntarily giving them support and instructions throughout the game. Subsequently, I wanted to groom and coach them so that they able to be a respectful player in the future. They were fully committed and wanted to explore tactics and techniques of playing soccer. With the new revolution, hopefully they will be a better player or someday shine to represent Singapore.
After going through some training, as their manager and trainer I wanted the team to be playing for some soccer league. Whilst searching through the internet I finally found the soccer league matches that we wanted, an inaugural ESPZEN Saturday Leagues starting on midweek of Jan 2008. It will be a sufficient time for us to have training and consolidate more experienced players and restructure the whole team. We also recruited some senior players to add punch and guidance to the youngsters.
The best part of all, we had a sponsorship from my close friend, Mr KC Ong of Innotest Pte Ltd who had voluntarily sponsored us for the first ten games. They were delighted as I can see from these youngsters their commitment as I told them the good news.
