*Clay for Kids*
Eve Sturm
Wednesdays 3:30 – 5:00
January 14 – March 4
Ages K-6. An introduction to handbuilding with a focus on both functional and whimsical pieces using nature as inspiration.
$125 + $20 materials fee (includes first bag of clay and firings)
Eve has taught children’s clay classes and workshops at John Bryan Community Pottery for several years.

*Explore Clay*
Geno Luketic
Mondays, 6:30–9:00
January 12 – March 2
A class for all levels of interest in ceramics. Explore wheel-throwing and handbuilding from the beginning. Watch demos, learn new techniques, then hone your own skills by creating individual projects.
$125 + $20 materials fee (includes first bag of clay and firings)
Geno, a graduate of Baldwin Wallace College, Berea, Ohio, apprenticed with wood-fire potter, Joe Bruhin, in the Arkansas Ozarks and worked a year towards earning his MFA at E.T.S.U. He is the studio tech at JBCP.

*Tile and Mosaic*

Thursdays, 6:30–9:00
January 15 – March 5
Create focus tiles for use in mosaic projects or decorative tiles for your home. Learn about adhesives and materials used in tiling and mosaic. Complete a mosaic project of your choice. No experience required.
$125 + $20 materials fee (includes first bag of clay and firings)
Lisa graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.S. in Industrial Design. She has been creating mosaic projects for over 10 years and is the manager of JBCP.

*Wheel Throwing/Handbuilding*
Kate & Dave Chesar
Wednesdays, 6:30–9:00
March 18 – May 6
Two instructors in one class gives more opportunity for personal attention. All levels welcome. Beginners will learn basic skills while more advanced students will work on personal projects.
$125 + $20 materials fee (includes first bag of clay and firings)
Kate earned a B.A. from Kent State University, studying under Kirk Mangus. She specializes in semi-altered tableware with slip decoration.
Dave has studied with John Britt and Kim Megginson at The University of Dayton. He curently teaches at The University of Dayton and Rosewood Arts Centre, as well as JBCP.
