As of Sunday, July 22nd 2007, we became a lending library which offers borrowing privileges to patrons.  For a membership fee of $5, one can become a card-carrying member of the Toronto Zine Library.  This membership will allow cardholders to borrow up to six (6) library materials at a time for up to two weeks.  For more information on how to become a member or the process of borrowing, please email us or visit us at the library during library hours and ask one of our friendly Zine Librarians about acquiring a library card of your own!

TORONTO ZINE LIBRARY CARDHOLDER TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

-  Lending time for materials is two (2) weeks.  The onus is on TZL cardholders to bring  materials back on time.  The TZL Collective reserves the right to contact cardholders via phone/email who possess late materials.

-  Lending can currently be conducted ONLY during LIBRARY HOURS (Sundays 1-3pm).  Lending can not be conducted without the written authorization of a TZL Zine Librarian.  Borrowing outside of library hours when the library is unsupervised is prohibited, and is considered misuse of the library and it's materials.

-  Cardholders are expected to return materials on time to either a TZL Zine Librarian during library hours OR outside of library hours to the in-library drop-box.

-  Cardholders are expected to return materials in the same condition they were lent out in, as most of our materials are rare and nearly impossible to replace.

-  Borrowing can only be done by cardholders who have paid the $5 membership fee.
