Masterclasses

Featured Artist Masterclass

REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED


 AFF will offer a series of public masterclasses. Performers may chose their own repertoire.


  • Register for the Festival (Registration Page)
  • Apply for the Featured Artist Masterclass online (below) by Friday 17th May, 2019
  • Successful applicants will be notified on Friday 31st May, 2019

Once you have been notified, you will have 3 days to pay for the masterclass online, via the Registration Page. Failure to pay for the masterclass within the time frame may result in your masterclass being offered to another applicant.


Ian Clark will not  be giving a masterclass as he is doing a public workshop on his own compositions instead.


Featured Artist Masterclass Performer registration fee: $110


Private Masterclasses

REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED


AFF will offer a series of shared masterclasses. Four students will be selected to play repertoire chosen by the Artist. These masterclasses will not be open to the public.


  • Register for the Festival (Registration Page)
  • Apply for the Private Masterclass (see online form below) by 17th May, 2019
  • Successful applicants will be notified on 31st May, 2019

Once you have been notified, you will have 3 days to pay for the masterclass online, via the Registration Page. Failure to pay for the masterclass within the time frame may result in your masterclass being offered to another applicant. 


Private Masterclass Performer registration fee: $80

Margaret Crawford Paul Hindemith - Sonata for Flute and Piano. How stories can help with interpretation. Prokofiev and Martinu flute sonatas will also be under discussion.
