Solitude & The Road to Extinction
20 October - 24 November 2018
Public Preview from 7-11pm on October 20th 2018.
I'm delighted to be showing with Corey Helford Gallery in my first US Solo Exhibition.
I've been working for the past twenty months on this show and have sixteen paintings completed for the exhibition.
The themes, as the title suggests, are Solitude and Extinction . . . whereby the Extinction aspect looks further than that of the extinction our wonderful animals and explores mankind own future. These pull references from popular culture, featuring post-apocalyptic landscapes and zombies.

ING Discerning Eye
12 - 22 Nov 2015, Mall Galleries, The Mall, London SW1
The ING Discerning Eye Exhibition is a show of small works independently selected by six prominent figures from different areas of the art world: two artist, two collectors and two critics. Work is selected from open submission and with works by artists invited by the individual selectors. Each section is hung separately to give each its own distinctive identity. The impression emerges of six small exhibitions within the whole. It provides an unusual opportunity for works by lesser-known artists to be hung alongside contributions from internationally-recognised names. More . . .

As I had planned not to have a solo exhibition in 2010 I decided to participate in a few Group Shows to brighten up my year.
I saw the London Lives competition advertised and although I didn’t think my work would be quite what they were looking for I put a piece in and was delighted when it was accepted for the show.
I was totally taken by surprise when my name was called out for the Silver award. It was all very surreal and wonderfully strange and just goes to show that “You never can tell”

"John", 16" x 12", Oil on Panel
A portrait of actor John Sarbutt as featured in my recent Blog
Listen to The Heart of Failure by Cassandra Tribe while looking at John's Portrait. This track taps into my deepest emotions and was an inspiration for me when painting"John".
I believe that it is extremely rare for a painting to be truly portrayed by music and spoken word . . .or music and spoken word to be truely portrayed by a painting . . . but . . ."The Heart of Failure" and "John" have achieved this rare state and are deeply connected.
