Music Festival at St. Ignatius - The Capitol Hill Chamber Music Festival is coming back to Baltimore with three early chamber music programs featuring period instruments. The concert will be on September 20, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. at St. Ignatius Church. The programs will highlight the evolving 17th-century musical perspective in Italy and France, as well as throughout Europe in the context of earlier and later centuries. Organ Concert – You are invited to St. Alphonsus Rodriguez Catholic Church’s Annual Organ Concert featuring guest artist David Brian Lang. The concert will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 25, 2024, at St. Alphonsus Rodriguez Catholic Church, 10800 Old Court Rd, Woodstock, MD. This event is open to the public, and a free-will offering will be taken. Light refreshments will be served after the concert. David Brian Lang is a well-known concert organist, choral conductor, and vocal coach in the greater Washington, DC area. He holds positions at St. John the Beloved Catholic Church in McLean, VA, Washington Hebrew Congregation in Washington, DC, and Encore Creativity for Older Adults in Annapolis, MD. Hispanic Family Festival – The Hispanic Family Festival is happening on October 26 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s Seminary & University, 5400 Roland Avenue. They are currently accepting applications for vendors/exhibitors - those serving or wanting to engage the Hispanic/Latino community. Ministry exhibitors do not pay a fee but please reach out if you want to reserve a spot.
